IOIHAN Voice Privacy Policy
Effective November 3, 2026
This policy explains what information the IOIHAN Voice desktop application ("the app") handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. IOIHAN Voice is published by IOIHAN, LLC ("IOIHAN", "we", "us").
The short version: your calls, contacts, call history and passwords stay on your computer. We don't run analytics, show ads or sell data. The only information the app sends to us (through our store, Polar) is what's needed to check a Pro license.
1. Information that stays on your computer
The app stores the following only on your PC, in your Windows user profile
(%APPDATA%\WolfCall). We never receive it:
- Phone account settings: server, username, display name and similar settings you enter.
- Passwords: your phone account password and your Pro license key are encrypted with Windows' own data protection, readable only by your Windows user account. They are never written to log files.
- Contacts: names, numbers, companies and notes you add.
- Call history (Recents): who called or was called, when, for how long, and on which account.
- App settings: theme, display size, audio devices and similar preferences.
- Log files: technical records to help diagnose problems. They may include phone numbers and server names, never passwords. They stay on your PC.
Uninstalling the app (deleting the program file) doesn't remove this folder. To remove everything,
delete %APPDATA%\WolfCall.
2. Your phone service provider
IOIHAN Voice connects directly to the phone service you choose (for example voip.ms or your company's phone system). To sign in and place calls, it sends that provider your account details, the numbers you call, and the audio of your calls, the same as any phone app. These never pass through IOIHAN. Your provider's own privacy policy covers what it does with them.
3. Pro licensing (Polar)
We sell IOIHAN Voice Pro through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. When you buy Pro, Polar collects your name, email address, billing details and payment information to process the order and send your license key. Polar's privacy policy covers that information; we receive your order details (such as your name, email and what you bought) so we can support you.
When you use a Pro license, the app contacts Polar:
| When | What the app sends |
|---|---|
| Activating a key | Your license key, an anonymous ID for your PC, your PC's name (so you can recognize it in your customer portal) and the app version |
| About once a day while Pro is active, and when you choose Check now | Your license key, the activation ID and the anonymous PC ID |
| Deactivating | Your license key and the activation ID |
The anonymous PC ID is a one-way scrambled code (a hash) made from an ID Windows assigns to your PC. It can't be turned back into the Windows ID and reveals nothing about you or your computer; it only lets the license recognize the same PC again.
We use this information only to check that a license is valid, enforce the number of PCs per license, show you your activated PCs, and provide support. The free Basic edition doesn't contact Polar at all.
4. What we don't do
- No analytics, tracking, telemetry or advertising in the app.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your information for marketing.
- No recording of your calls by us, and no access to your contacts or call history.
5. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive what you send, including anything you choose to paste from Settings → About → Copy diagnostics (app version, Windows version, account settings without passwords, license status and recent log lines). We use it only to answer you, and keep it only as long as needed for that.
6. How long we keep information
- On your PC: until you delete it.
- License records (at Polar and with us): for as long as your license exists and as required for tax and accounting records. Removing a PC from your customer portal removes that activation.
- Support emails: as long as needed to resolve your request.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, Canada or California), you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it. Email us at the address below and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also manage your license and activated PCs yourself in the Polar customer portal linked from Settings → License.
Our legal basis for processing license information is to provide the product you bought (performing our contract with you) and our legitimate interest in preventing license misuse.
8. Children
IOIHAN Voice isn't directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live), and we don't knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention it in the release notes of the next version.
